The Urge - Top notch rock 'n' roll at Popkomm
On September 20, 2007, the British band The Urge will make a stop in Berlin during their tour with SAGA and perform at the "Music Meets Media" event during Popkomm.
Popkomm, which was first held in 1990, is the international trade fair for the music and entertainment industry offering an integrated mix of trade fair, conference and festival activities. Since 2004, this industry trade fair has featured an annual music industry event called "Music Meets Media," which has become established as the "place to be" for prominent music business figures. The event brings together musicians, producers and marketing decisionmakers to enjoy this combination party/job market/networking event.
In 2007, media movers and shakers will again attend this major media party at Berlin's Grand Hotel Esplanade for the usual mix of red-hot live performances, including the hippest British rock export today: The Urge, a successful up-and-coming band and excellent live act, will thrill attendees with their compelling rock sounds on September 20.
