Rock Legends Adventure - Fans Perform Alongside Their Heroes
Germany's first event series of this type kicks off on May 20 in Cologne
Cologne, February 21, 2007 – On May 20, the Cologne-based music company Music Networx GmbH will make the dream of a lifetime come true for 40 rock fans. On that day, they will strut their stuff in Cologne's Balloni Hallen side-by-side with world-renowned stars, including Toto singer Bobby Kimball, Spencer Davis and John Miles.
To get them up to speed for the concert of their lives, the amateur musicians will participate in five days of intensive rehearsals for the concert. Well-known musicians and coaches will be available to help them learn the songs during seven hours of practice sessions daily. And so that they are prepared for these rehearsals, each participant will receive a set list, sheet music, lyrics and a CD containing all of the songs four weeks before the event.
The evening of May 20 will be the moment of truth. During the three-hour concert, the 40 participants will stand on stage with their heroes in front of an audience of 500 fans and make memories that they will never forget.
Participants will also enjoy additional perks usually reserved for rock stars: a limousine service, selection of instruments, lodging in a four-star hotel, a complete catering service and a copy of the concert DVD.
